Minto Pyramid

  1. State the governing answer.
  2. Give two to four supporting reasons.
  3. Put evidence beneath the reason it supports.
  4. Keep items at the same level logically comparable.
  5. Order the reasons by importance, process, time, or another clear logic.

SCQA setup

  • Situation: What stable context does the reader already understand?
